Through the Gentlemen's Toast Awards, we aim to shine a spotlight on outstanding gentlemen who have made significant strides in their respective industries, leaving a lasting impact on society.
Our awards program encompasses a wide range of categories, including but not limited to entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, community service, education, arts, and culture. This diversity ensures that individuals from various backgrounds and professions have the opportunity to be acknowledged for their accomplishments.
As the pinnacle of our awards program, we bestow the distinguished titles of "Gentleman of the Year" and "Gentleman of the Decade" upon individuals who have demonstrated unparalleled excellence and leadership over the course of a year or a decade, respectively.

Gentlemen's Toast Nomination Requirements

Thank you for your interest in nominating remarkable individuals for the prestigious Gentlemen's Toast Awards, an initiative that seeks to honor black men who exemplify the exceptional combination of philanthropy and business, professional, and entrepreneurial acumen. We aim to recognize outstanding gentlemen across various industries, as well as bestow the distinguished titles of "Gentleman of the Year" and "Gentleman of the Decade." To ensure a fair and comprehensive selection process, please review and adhere to the following nomination requirements:

Nominees should be black men who have demonstrated remarkable dedication to both philanthropic endeavors and business, professional, or entrepreneurial excellence.

Nominees can be from any industry, including but not limited to business, technology, arts, healthcare, social work, and more.

Nominees must be located in the DFW metroplex.
Nominees can be submitted in the following categories:

Philanthropic Excellence Award: Recognizing individuals with a profound commitment to philanthropy.

Business Leader Award: Honoring those who have made significant contributions to the business world.

Community Champion Award: Recognizing individuals who have positively impacted their communities.

Trailblazer Award: Honoring pioneers and innovators in their respective fields.

Gentleman of the Year: An overall recognition for extraordinary achievements.

Gentleman of the Decade: The highest honor for a sustained, outstanding impact.
Complete the nomination form, providing detailed information about the nominee's philanthropic and business accomplishments.

Include a brief biography of the nominee, highlighting key achievements and contributions.

Nominators should explain why the nominee deserves recognition in their chosen category.
Encourage nominators to attach any relevant supporting documents such as articles, publications, or testimonials that illustrate the nominee's impact.
All nominations must be submitted by the specified deadline to be considered: October 1, 2025.
The nomination process is confidential, and all information provided will be used solely for the evaluation of nominees.
The selection committee will assess nominations based on the provided information and supporting documents.

Finalists will be announced by October 31, 2025. Voting for finalists begins on November 1, 2025.
